Getting the car to sit level.

I have a slight problem with my RR. The front offside sits about 20mm lower than the nearside, it's no biggie but it's beginning to irritate. I took it back to where I bought it and the guys said they would take a look but Defenders are their bread and butter and although they ran some routine with the Autologic box they have it's still the same. Is this something a main dealer could address and if anyone's had it done what does it cost.
I can't find anything either on this site or with a wider internet search but someone must know something - any help would be much appreciated. Geoff

Dan suggested this meathod when Nick h had a height difference problem.

Quote:
When you get out the car, that front corner will spring up. I believe that in access mode the threshold for height correction requests is increased.

To check:
Park up in standard height.
Open drivers window.
Leave engine running - get out of car.
Press the Access Mode button.

This will make the car check the height at each corner as it lowers

see thread here.....http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/post58339.html#58339

If that fails autologic should be able to recalibrate it or testbook.

Thanks guys, but mines the opposite, drivers side just sits lower that passengers no matter what I do. I've tried setting access mode through the window (and all the other modes come to that) but nothing works. I guess I need to take it somewhere more familiar with the Autologic box. I should have suspected something when I asked if he would be able to turn on some of the convenience features around locking etc but, although willing, he declared it was too complex. Geoff

you can tweek the suspension yourself. The height sensors are mounted on a really thin metal bracket. if you carefully twist the sensor slightly with a large spanner or pliers you can alter each corner height. They only need a very small turn in the direction the arm swings. Just move it a tiny bit then let it recheck itself and measure again. Im sure this is why they get out of level if the bracket bends over time. This was how primative tuning companies lowered their cars before shorter rods and recalibrations became the norm.
