A big thank you to all forum members

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all members of this forum.

The help on offer either with direct responses, or indirect from the vast number of helpful posts has been invaluable. Almost everyone is helpful and friendly, and I am happy to be part of this great community.

Because of this, and the excellent wiki, I have tackled jobs I would not have even considered before purchasing this car. I am a technically minded person… but not a mechanic. Before I would struggle knowing how to top up my coolant, yet because of this forum I have replace my front and rear bushes and arms, rear struts, and am busy with my pulleys, alternator, ac compressor, etc… and plan so much more!

Again… thank you to you all and keep this forum the excellent place that it is Thumbs Up Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

Yep, I agree Thumbs Up

I was actually telling a friend earlier just how polite and civilised the form is too. Quite unlike other forums I have and currently belong to.

I would have never have done so many DIY jobs on the car if it wasn't for this bunch of good people Bow down 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

We agree with this, all we have done is top up the wishy washy tank, we now have a problem (after a service) and three garages later, still not fixed. We enjoy reading all the posts on here and have purchased a few things from the shop Thumbs Up

+1 from me too.

I had an old 2002 v8, I used to come here for answers... and put up a good few posts of personal solutions too. then, I recently progressed to a 2012 tdv8, and it came with a small list of 'sundry' jobs, and things I wanted to know about, and so far, all the solutions were searchable here. car is running so sweet now. other platforms, like Facebook groups are good, but nowhere near as good as this...It has a wealth of knowledge, and a lot less 'bloke from the pub said' type answers etc. and all fully searchable etc.

may it live forever! Happy new Year!
