Hi guys,

The ignition barrel mechanism appears knackered in my 2007 3.6 TDV8.
I’ve identified the part as being

Part # CWB500730SW

This includes two new keys and door locks.

What’s involved in replacement?
Is this a DIY or because of key programming, etc, does it require a specialist ?

If I'm not mistaken, the ignition switch is behind the key barrel and can be replaced without changing the keys and all the locks. 2002 4.6 Vogue SE - Alveston Red with Lightstone Leather

I called rimmer bros yesterday regarding this but all they were offering is the CWB500730SW part, £786.85 cough!!
If anyone knows the part # of just the switch, I’d be very greatfull.
