A faulty transfer box shift motor potentiometer is a possible cause (although, usually, it's the battery). Does the transfer box shift into low range and then back into high range okay?

I wonder what goes on the potentiometer to only effect it when cold? Put the inhibitor back on and still the same. No display on dash. |
