2011 4.4 TDV8 VSE

Really weird one that started yesterday. The interior lights have developed a mind of their own - when I open a door the rear dome light comes on but not the front. If I push the middle button on the front dome, only that rear dome goes on or off….

…. However when driving along, the front dome light AND the front and rear footwell lights come on…. Then go off some minutes later…. Then come on again…..

I’m assuming either a dodgy door sensor, a bulb shorting or… it’s just haunted.

Any ideas where to start or shall I just boil up some split pea soup? 2011 VSE 4.4 TDV8 Santorini / Ivory

start with a batery disconnection then look for moisture in the electronics and if that inconclusive , get an exorcist .. ... - .- -.
