2010 3.6 TDV8 No Longer Default To AirCon On

Hi All,

A couple of days ago the battery in my 2010 3.6 TDV8 was replaced. The car was told (with my IID) that the battery was replaced.

I've noticed since that the air-con no longer defaults to on, it also remembers the setting from the previous journey for distribution / fan speed / climate seats. There may well be the argument about the default on increasing fuel consumption but given the grief that can be caused by moisture I thought I'd prefer to stick to it defaulting to on.

Has anyone seen this before and can it be configured somehow please?

Cheers

Car was parked yesterday afternoon. I didn't use it until just before 4pm today.

As I pressed the start button I looked at the HVAC controls and they were the previously used settings. Glanced at the dash to check the 'Cold Start in progress' message, looked back at the HVAC controls, just as they changed to the automatic settings & air-con on. During the journey I changed the distribution & fan speed & turned the ac off.

Short journey, then it was parked for about 45mins, when I then started it the settings were what they had previously been changed to. This time they didn't change to automatic & air-con on though. 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black
