IMHO the steering wheel is the most important area to get right as it’s such a key touch point. I agree a plastic airbag cover is a no-no on a vehicle at this price.

I went to the viewing at my dealer last night. They had a car with the fabric seats, so it was interesting to take a closer look.

Very comfortable, and I have to say I did like the look. However, the steering wheel was the same material and it just felt like "fake leather". It was also quite warm in the bright lights of the dealer, and I didn't think that it smelt that good! So it confirmed what I already was thinking - it has to be leather for me.

Interesting option though - I asked the dealer how many had ordered it so far. He said none! 2024 Range Rover P550e AB
