Hi all. Selling my 4.2 S/C in Stornaway grey with all black interior. Registered Dec 2006 so the interior facelift model. 4 previous owners and 117,211 miles on the clock. I’ve had this car for the last 18 months and have thoroughly enjoyed it but have now been issued with a company car and can’t justify keeping it for weekends really.
Tried to be as honest as I can with the description. This isn’t showroom condition but it is still a lovely a car for somebody else to enjoy.

Good points :
• Dealer service history book stamped to 87k / 2014. Thereafter a receipt for an independent service at 97k and an oil change done by me at 104k. From the MOT history the mileage only changed by about 5000 miles between 2017 and 2020 so it has not be been driven hard. I bought it in July 2020 with 101k on it.
• MOT to January 2023. New front tyres and off side lower suspension arm fitted at last one.
• V5C present in my name.
• 2 keys
• 4 good matched Continental Winter Contact tyres with 7.5mm tread fronts and 4.5 rears. Full size spare in boot.
• Over £1000 spent on the A/C system – fully working and ice cold. Had a new compressor, condenser, thermostatic valve and new sections of high pressure piping and pressure sensor.
• The gearbox had a leaking ecu connector sleeve (common problem) so I have replaced the sleeve, sump and filter assembly and refilled the gearbox with Life Guard 6 fluid. A fluid change is highly recommended on the ZF6 box so this should give many thousands more miles of silky smooth gearchange.
• Mercedes sprinter jack included. Essential for these cars.
• New GPS antenna fitted and reversing camera.
• Rear Screen Entertainment system with original headphones and remotes. IR transmitter in roof replaced. TV system works.
• All new TPMS sensors.
• Fitted with side steps and front mud guards. I have the rear mud guards too if you want them but haven’t fitted them as I don’t like the look.


Bad points :
• Car is running absolutely fine but is due another service.
• Both climate seats function only on cool and not heat. Fairly sure it’s the usual peltier cell/ducting problem in the seat backs but as I don’t have an IID tool but never got round to looking at them yet. My plan was to try one of the repair kits now available on ebay (search L322 climate repair)
• Front brake pads are nearing the minimum thickness and will require replacing soon.
• MOT in December recorded a nail in one of the rear tyres but it is holding pressure so have left it.
• Corrosion started around both rear wheel arches. I have applied rust remedy but will need a paint repair. (see photo)
• Corrosion bubble to rear of wheel arch on passenger side. Not through paint but again would need a paint repair. (see photo)
• Very small stone chip in the front windscreen.
• Small ding in the driver side rear quarter panel. (see photo)
• Long scratch through the top coat in the rear passenger door. (see photo)
• Swirly scratch on the rear bumper passenger side. (see photo)

I am asking for £5000 on this forum before I try a sale elsewhere. Appreciate that the next owner would probably need to spend some money on a good service and some smart paint repairs so I have reflected this in the price. Really want to see this car go to a good home if possible.

Sorry doesn’t have a through loader or a tow bar am afraid.
