My New 08 L322 vogue “Pimp or Stock”

So it’s here
And it’s a bit of a halfway house. Somewhere along the line
The grill and side vents have become “supercharged”

Few bits to sort
Rear camera
High level brake light
Bonnet gas struts.

So…..,,
Do I go blacker than a black thing grills etc smoked lights in true drug dealer fashion

Or

Go back to stock all round

Hmmmm thoughts welcome

The (my!) answer is always stock! That stock could be different wheels etc, but they have to be from that model. When I bought winter wheels for my last 2 x BMWs, they had to be the standard M Sport wheel as an SE wheel wouldn't have been right. I'd never make a car look like something it isn't, by changing badges, trim, grille, lights etc.

Just my opinion, which I know isn't shared by many! MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

+1 for stock.
Other than changes to remove the compromises that the manufacturers have to make (like tyres), any other changes mean you've either bought the wrong car or you still think you're 19. Either one isn't a good look.
Oddly I didn't think like this a few decades ago when I ruined plenty of cars with my DIY "improvements" Embarassed

Stock it is but there’s a challenge !

Overwhelmingly stock then. Thank you for making me see sense lol
The issue I have now is What is stock for a 2008 L333 TDV8 Vogue ?
Pics and comments most welcome.
Should the grill and side vents be “slatted” or “criss cross”?

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue

I've returned mine from modified slightly with black wheels, cheap chrome grills and side vents along with chrome side tubes back to a factory standard car. In it's original condition it gives me a lot of pleasure to look at it whereas before I really didn't like it to be honest.

The grill and side vents that you have are off a Supercharged Range Rover. A lot of people changed them over the years and I believe you could choose to change them from the factory when new but might be mistaken on that.

That is broadly identical to mine!

I think the grill/side vents are optional. I checked the build sheet on a vin decoder so you might have a look there and see what was specified on it.

Fwiw I like the stock look, but am not the biggest fan of the vogue wheels. Mine have pretty much new grabbers on but need a refurb, I do really want to change em but seems a waste to launch the tyres this early I have only had it three weeks!

The best one I saw on here “updated” was the Stornaway grey vogue, stainless side bars, l405 wheels (style 5s) the late style rear lights and it looked generally ace.
