Front Seat Massage

So over a year ago, the driver's seat massage stopped working. The garage checked and says it need a new controller. This will be fixed under warranty. The controller is still on order.

I miss this function on longer journeys. Would I be mad to see if I could try and find this part secondhand? Then get the garage to fit, and then replace it with the real part when it is available again.

Also, where can I find the part number? I will try and ask the service rep when the car is in for the replacement DPF. SDV8 AB MY 2020

The Drivers Seat Module is located under the seat. If you remove it, you can get the part number and find one on ebay.

so I was at the garage today. It is the Lumbar Support - Land-Rover (LR101122). I have searched on ebay but found none. Other ideas where I can look for a second-hand part?
The garage has no idea when the part will come and be fitted under warranty, it has been nearly a year now. SDV8 AB MY 2020

If it was me, I would start swapping parts between the seats to determine if that is the cause. The parts may be the opposite, but plugging them in will test functionality. Then you can confirm the actual part number of the item in your seat.

The part number you provided does not seem to be for massaging seats, only heated and cooled.

LR050252 looks like the same item, but for the massaging seat.

You could find a used seat on eBay or at local breakers and swap the seat cover (leather) if it is the wrong colour.

An internet search will find the part too:

So looking at the links. The second link is for the pre-facelift model.

I will need to ask the garage again.
But looking at all of the US Range Rover 2019-2020 using that link, none seem to have got Massage seats.
It could be that the diagram is wrong. SDV8 AB MY 2020

That is why I suggest finding the part number yourself. The plastic seat back comes off extremely easy.

Likely the 2018-2022 years use the same part number for the internal massage components. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8
