I'm looking for a complete swan-neck type Westfalia towbar for a 2010 L322 (armature, receiver, demountable tow-bar and electrics). If anyone has the armature, receiver and electrics without the demountable towbar I'd consider it.

I have been searching for the same and ended up buying one second hand online, what I have now noticed is that there may be subtle differences between the years (with regards the exhaust mounts). I believe the 2010-2012 have the exhaust mount at the rear of the armature whereas the earlier years have a mount midway back.

RJPotts, you may wish to widen your options by looking at pre-2010 Westfalia lots. I have just done this as there seem to be many more available (still not cheap though). The bits needed are:
- armature (I got mine sand blasted and painted while it was off) and detachable bits (the ball and receiver). ~£430
- >2010 electrics (from PFJones ~£40)
- grinding off the exhaust hangers from your existing armatures (they don’t need to be welded onto the new armature as the bolt holds them in place).

Apologies for not having responded, I'd missed your replies sorry.

I actually saw a complete one advertised recently, from a 2008 vehicle. I contacted the ever helpful Robin at Duckworth who confirmed compatibility with a 2010 vehicle, so thats been bought & should be on the way soon.

I'd actually bought the removable part, the socket, moulded insert etc for the boot floor stowage a few weeks ago so will have that lot for sale soon. Will post an ad when I do.
