Country Sports

If you own a Range Rover you ought to be into country sports... Laughing Anyone else here like a bit of shooting?

The reason I bought my RR is primarily to take it shooting, due to the poor weather I've not been out in a while but plan to get the RR out and about soon enough!

Here's some gratuitous pictures of my previous 4x4's when out and about in the field...

Here’s one from a partridge day last year

On my shoot in Sussex we get around in a couple of Polaris ATVs. Doesn’t matter if they get biffed about!

Spent a bit of time on this Censored but it's pretty noisy and bloody cold at night!

I do lots of shooting and it's one of my reasons for having the Rangie, as I regularly head up into the hills.

However, my 'guns' as a bit les lethal than yours!....

Don't worry though - despite being a keen wildlife photographer, I'm not one of those Chris Packham types! I'm on very good terms with lots of keepers and post some of my photos on a social media sporting estates page! Wink The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

Not yet but I'm keen to get into it! Have recently joined the National Beater's Association (NOBS) with the hope of being able to learn the ropes via a bit of beating. Plan to do some clays too this summer.

If anyone's short on a beater in the north west/cheshire/north wales please let me know! Would be keen to help.

Nice thread Thumbs Up FFRR SDV8 Autobiography

I once turned up for a day’s beating and found I had the only FFRR. Got some interesting comments!

Before I went to work abroad I towed the beaters trailer for many a year with my various RR's.

Certainly raised some eyebrows from guest guns that's for sure. Laughing

Same here! I’m a picker-up but ended up driving the walking guns from peg to peg between drives! 2018 L405 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography
