Ah JMC you're the reason why I'm asking about cameras lol. I posted on the off-road section asking where i could take the fatty offroading and you replied with some pictures of your fatty taken at night with a clear night sky in the background, looks spectacular. Seeing them pics i thought, i want to take pics like that. However, now seeing your V8 camera bag i can see why those pics look awesome. And that is some serious camera equipment you have there.

Ah yes.... That one!

Here it is in the same spot during the day:

Now, if you want to take pics like this, you'll probably need to spend some hard currency and a few years perfecting things:

Or you can just let some other fool do it and you don't have to leave your lounge! Whistle The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

If you want pictures of stars you can use an iPhone, the original is far better than the upload.

One disadvantage of iPhones and the like for those of us getting on a bit - spectacles!
Phone photos you need to fumble for your specs to view the screen, DSLR or a compact with viewfinder and the diopter adjustment solves the problem. 2011MY 4.4TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue

You wont beat a Canon Powershot for the money. It blows my iPhone 12 Pro into a cocked hat if you know how to use it.

I have a G16, maybe pick up a second user one? Christian.

Caesium thanks for that, I've just looked into that one and looks a great bit of kit. Just what I'm looking for and think that will suit me perfectly. I shall order one shortly. Thanks guys.

Haven’t used my DSLR for years. have got an old D90 somewhere and a bag full of lenses. Just use My phone now. I’ve got a 13 pro and previously had an 11 pro. The 13 is miles better.

Bit of a holiday snap from Universal. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I used to spend ages taking pictures back before I had kids. This is one of my favourites.

This one was taken with my Moto g 5plus, through the window of my truck in Norway back in December. Still good quality.

Crop the bottom and that’s a great image.

Well I've took the plunge and bought me this camera. Easy to use and just what I'm looking for.
