Warning light

Hi I had a yellow warning light. Called RRassist , AA pitched up , spent a while here and turned it off. All about ten days ago

Booked the car in to be checked by RR.

They just phoned and said don’t bother coming in, as it’s been reset we can’t identify the fault ( I have the number) .

Are they right ? Do I have to wait for it to come back? If it comes back, and then swerve in to see them?

Thoughts please Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

It was mentioned: JLR just say they can’t do it as the yellow was turned off .

Update. Checked with another dealer, if the light was turned off , the dealer can’t trace any fault and they can anyway be spurious. Told not to worry as it’s running ok . Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits.
