Just a thought this weekend why don't they fit electric cooling fans to the 4.4 in place of the vicus one as standard lots og other manufactures do , It can not be air flow as there are plenty of other cars with much more power have them and it would make 'jobs ' much easer . mounting it /them in front of the radiators

Belt and suspenders.

The engine fan is mechanical, if it fails and the engine gets too hot the engine computer requests the air con fan On. You can't have this redundancy from 1 fan in front of the radiator pack.

I'm currently working on fitting a pair of electric fans in place of the mechanical. I'll report all when done.
