Warranty and oil changes

Just a quick question can I have oil & filter changes done by my local vat registered garage , and still comply with the warranty. The price between them and the Land Rover Garage is much less.

Yes you can, but ensure your indie can register this work on the OSH https://osh.landrover.com
Believe its done through Topix so they will need to register an account. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Thanks for that. When the service indicator light comes on , I will check that they have the appropriate devices. Feel more confident now with oil dilution and still want to keep my car.

Surely even if they cant a bill stating the work done would be fine?

Make sure you get a VAT receipt listing genuine filter and correct brand and grade of oil

My advice is to ensure you have an official note in the OSH, unless you have a service log book that can be stamped?

Of course you need to keep receipts and bills etc as proof. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue
