Dead battery - dreaded CLICK

Working on the L322 installing the loadspace frame, started it yesterday morning, drove into the driveway. Tailgate, doors etc up open for 8 hours yesterday. Went to start it, CLICK. Message on radio “Low Power”

Stuck it on trickle charge last night, went to start it this am, CLICK. Used my booster pack, just flashing lights, won’t start or booster the power.

I have a Varta battery, it’s only 2 months old, the little Green indicator is Black, So, I’m assuming it’s dropped a cell or battery is just dead beyond repair / recovery.

When I tried to fire it this morning, radio is off and all sorts of items are not functional, even the OBD2 port is dead.

Battery dead? Seems so to me. Check out my YouTube channel

Jump leads won’t reach where it’s parked, have ordered a new one to be fitted by Halfords tomorrow, they can test it too, which I’m sure they can do and jump it, that’s where I bought it from, all symptoms point to it being toast, unless someone can think os something else. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Check out my YouTube channel

Has the battery got so flat that the charged didn't detect it so didn't charge it?

I’ve no idea, but I opened the door again, the Range River splash came up on the radio, pressed staff, fired up 🤷🏼‍♂️

Turned off, tried again, fired up.

Now taking for a 1 hour drive. No errors

🤷🏼‍♂️ No idea Check out my YouTube channel

It’s worth checking for clean/tight battery terminal connections. Some replacement batteries have terminals that are fractionally undersized and don’t always get a good connection.

Replaced battery, the other one had a dead cell, wasn’t holding 12v consistently. All good 👍🏻 Check out my YouTube channel
