In the UK you can either use Plasticote Matte Black or Plastidip black spray.

This was a silver trim piece that I resprayed black using the Plasticote Matte Black, you can see how well it matches oem trim car makers use asit is almost a perfect match to the idrive controller....

It also goes on really easily.
Wipe the trim clean, then spray 3-4 light coats, dry with a hair dryer between coats or wait 10 minutes between each.

1 can will do loads.

gizze, how well has this lasted and di you use the Plasti-Kyte clear sealer on top of the Matt black? 2014 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography & 2015 3.0SDV6 HSE Lux Discovery 4

I thought I'd respray mine.

I sanded the paint off and sprayed with plastic primer. Not a success. The primer bloomed and then cracked.

Thinking it might have been a humidity problem (it was a few months back in summer), I sanded them all back again and resprayed yesterday when the humidity was 68% and the temp was 18 deg C (it is winter!).

The same thing happened again. I'm not sure what to do next.
