Bloomberg (roughly the same as 'The Mail' but from Americastan) have a suitably vague report of it https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/20...y%20chain. sounds like bullsh*t to me, the sensors and processors in both usage cases are specific to their use, not generic, programmable items.

I am not sure which is more frustrating.

Not being contacted.

Or being contacted to be told there is nothing to tell.

Agreed it is just so frustrating....i put down an expression of interest deposit prior to ordering even opening, ordered first day the order book opened, still nowhere to be seen with no sign of anything moving! I am glad i dont treat my customers like this is all I can say!

I would be calling the dealer and asking why you've not got a confirmed date when other customers like me have got a build date and I ordered at the same/similar time.

I have asked this and I was told they only get to know a month in advance what is going to be built. Also if you have ordered an AB or a petrol then there is next to nothing coming through. If it’s a V8 it’s even worse.

As mine is a V8 I am now resigned to the fact that it isn’t coming anytime soon, even though I ordered a year ago. I just hope that the delay will mean some of the early problems will be fixed and there may be some new colours, wheels and other options made available.

Lol i did! Even cited your new RR as its within the Hendy group, I just get the distinct impression they have absolutely no idea what is going on!

I am inclined to believe that it may be an issue with allocation as well as lack of parts. I have been led to believe Southampton have about 60 odd on order (could well be more by now) and have delivered about 6 (so i have been told). I just don't think the allocation is there to support the sales! This said I cant get anyone to actually tell me the truth so all is just speculation....
