Swan neck Tow bar storage question

I have piecing together my towbar, and recently bought the foam swan neck storage.

When i fitted it i I didn’t realise I would be removing the plastic bucket, and there is now a gap around the storage for the swan neck.

I have attached a pic, am I missing a part?

Mine is the same, seems like they could have designed it better. Current: Range Rover L322 4.4tdv8, Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 2, BMW 535d Touring, Skoda Fabia, BMW S1000XR

I cut the top off the 'tub' to neatly fit around the foam insert.
Some careful fettling produced a really neat finish.

All wasted now as I have twin batteries ! Forty years of progress. 1972-2012

I cut the top off the 'tub' and with some careful fettling, it fitted neatly around the foam molding.

All wasted effort now as I subsequently fitted twin batteries instead.

Embarassed when collecting the caravan from winter storage, only to find the detachable part was at home in the garage, not the boot. Big Cry Forty years of progress. 1972-2012
