Land Rover has made BCU obsolete – any refurb options?

I’ve had several problems traced back to the Body Control Module (BCM) by my local Indy but he tells me that Land Rover have made them obsolete and he can’t get a replacement. Duckworth’s have also confirmed same. This is very bad news for the future of our L322’s.

For reference the problems are central locking via key fob not working, failure to sync keys and, most worrisome of all, spurious brake warnings (2006 MY 4.2 SC).

Does anyone know of a refurb-type service who can diagnose and repair the BCM?

Re buying a used BCM – is the mileage of the donor vehicle stored on the BCM or the LCM (Lighting Control Module) or is it stored on both?

If I went ahead with a second-hand BCM would the donor car’s mileage supplant my cars mileage and would I get the dreaded black dot on the odometer reading.

Thanks. 2006MY 4.2 SC

Just found this place, never used them, no connection what so ever, they say they can reprogram the BCU for Disco3 and RRS, plug and play including mileage, I don't know if the BCU is the same for an FF 322. might be worth a call.
