Tyre pressure sensors

Just change my wheels to new 22” SVOs and new sensors.
How do I get them to work.
Done the drive at 50 mph for a while and still got the error?

they should register fairly quickly on the first couple of journeys..

if they are brand new and never been on the road then theres a possibility that they may have to be activated. ... - .- -.

Hi Guys
Having spent 3 months with the light on my Tpms sensors error has finally been resolved.
2 hours in Land Rover this morning complete waste of time, so clueless it’s hard to believe.
Anyway had a response from Bartec who make the high end Tpms tools and they said all Kwik Fit branches have there tools!
Happy days, rocking up at one of there big branches and yes a Bartec 500 was there.
They had no idea how it works saying no but let’s try.
With seconds park mode was found and then the car has to remain stationery for 20mins.
£35 later and just got out the car park and the light went out and staying out, car now reads the sensors.
Still don’t see how a main dealers don’t know how to do this .

Because the sensors are delivered to the dealers through the JLR parts network already in park mode. Any not in the correct mode are sent back (there was a SSM about it some time ago). It's not that no-one knows how to do it, it's that there is no requirement to do it so the equipment is not available.

I'm guessing your TPMS sensors were not the ones your vehicle came with? possibly cheap but genuine ones from fleabay?

It can also be done with Autel TS608's.
