automatic light issue

when i turn my headlight switch to automatic the headlights wont come on. Any ideas? What doesn't kill you is just bidding it's time.

Have you had your windscreen replaced? Look at the back of the mirror fixing to the windscreen, are there any bubbles in the adhesive fixing - the light sensor is in this unit along with the rain sensor referred to above.

The other area to consider is the light switch faulty.

Have a look at the guide for removing the interior mirror itโ€™s in the wiki under electronics. Suggests you can get at the sensors without taking off the glass 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

Seems to be the original screen. The usual heated screen elements not working in front of the driver.

Have noticed the wipers some times do the intermitent wipe.

Looking at the manual says "Using the Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, calibrate the new rain sensor." after fitting. Has anyone done that? What doesn't kill you is just bidding it's time.

Is there a specific fuse for the automatic lights? What doesn't kill you is just bidding it's time.
