Tow Bar

Looking to get the dealer to fit an electronic towbar and they saying around £3k... does this seem right to you?

It was about £2.5k to retrofit a deployable towbar on a discovery 5 so sounds about right.

It is DIY if you want the instructions are availible in the accessory section MY23 PHEV HSE

Unfortunately yes, electric isn’t cheap, and personally I wouldn’t bother with electric - from what I have seen they are nothing but trouble after a few years of salt exposure 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

I think it’s the only option for the l460 in the UK MY23 PHEV HSE

I assume you have taken delivery? It’s around £1000 option but retrofitting is much more expensive as the valance etc needs changed. It’s a great option, though.

I paid about 3k to dealer retrofit mine.....I think I've used it once! lol

I always had one on previous cars so didn't want to be left without - might come in handy resale time in a couple of months all smug in my new plug!
