L322 4.4tdv8 viewing to buy

Hi all

Been looking for a new to me Range Rover tdv8 for some time eventually found one I like the looks of decent price etc and maybe would of bought it today but the mot history brought up an issue with the miles and unsure on how this can be rectified or fully checked as a miss entry …. Miles are consistent throughout the mountain of paperwork and it’s a folder full but 1 mot shows a jump of half a million miles πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ dealer says the paperwork checks out but this still shows up on the hpi and mot history is this something to overlook or be concerned for future sale etc

Nothing to worry about - the mileage will have been corrected at the MoT after the erroneous entry, obviously previous entries cannot be retrospectively changed but the correct mileage can be entered and verified at the test point a year later.
I'm not a tester but the ones at work do it quite often, it happens more than you think.

Looks like one too many 6’s were typed in.

That mileage definitely looks like it was fat fingered. I wouldn't be concerned.

The number '4' is right below the number '7' on a standard computer keypad.. my guess is the tester brushed the '4' with there gloves before pressing the '7'...

Wouldn't put me off the RR - just an annoyance. Gavin
