4 wheel tracking and camber adjustment recomendations | |
Good afternoon everyone, second post of the day.
So ive just replaced both trackrod end on my partners RR 2007 vogue plus the rear drivers wheel has worn the tyre out on the inside edge about 4cm, i was advised to take the RR to a local garage who do 4 wheel tracking ect but the equipment was to small for the RR wheels.
I have rang several garages like ATS, Kwickfit, Thislethwaits ect who say they can do 4 wheel tracking and each time i speak to them and they ask what vehicle it is they say "if its got air suspension and the eccentric bolts, then they wont adjust them". Having asked "isnt that part of the adjustment on 4 wheel tracking" there answer is "we wont alter that, just the rear track rods".
So now im looking for garages that will do 4 wheel tracking and adjust the camber so i dont wear through tyres. I was informed by the previous owner that the rear bushes were done 12-18months prior to us buying the RR. Having jacked the wheel up and manipulated the wheel nothing feels loose like the bushes have worn, which leads me to think when they did the bushes they never had it tracked.
We are based in Leigh Manchester, so could anyone recommend anywhere to take the RR to get it sorted? Im gussing that theres no simple "fix" on the drive.
Regards
