You say all of the services were done by Land Rover. Are you sure, I had the same problem but it was found that the cause was the oil filter of a well-known brand? it would only take the last oil change to have caused this problem. reducing the oil flow causes overheating of the bearing and results in excessive soot and sludge being created causing the oil filter life to be reduced and compounding the problem. Mine did this after only 1200 miles from having an oil and filter change with what was supposed to be a quality oil and filter. Message me if you need more details. Thanks, Paul |
