Not sure exactly what is wrong - 2008 3.6 TDv8 Stalled

Hey Everyone.

I'm not sure exactly what went wrong.

Yesterday I noticed my rear brake pads were sticking, and as such brought it to the mechanic and he replaced the calliper and pads.

Great!

Then I went and picked the RR up yesterday evening. Almost immediately after leaving his yard the car stalled.

Oh, I thought - so I simply restarted and all was well. I drove about 3 miles, and turned the car off - restarted 5 minutes later and drove 200m and it nearly stalled.

Then interesting things started to happen.

Transmission Error, Engine System Fault, HDC fault.

The Torque Converter was no longer engaged and when not revving it would drop back to idle despite moving.

I got home on restricted performance. When I turned it off and on it wouldn't rev - like the accelerator pedal was disconnected.

I left it overnight and went back at it today.

I checked the oil level - perfect ( I replaced the turbos last year). EGRs are blanked.

However, when I started it this morning it didn't idle well, switch it off and on again and it idled perfectly. But wouldn't rev above 2,000RPM.

What are your thoughts folks?

Error codes include:

U0401-68 Invalid data received from engine control module
P0191-24 - Fuel rail pressure sensor range/ performance.

Had a bloke here who had similar problems ! It turned out to be a fuel filter issue; how long since you changed yours ?
