Placing sticky toll widget on front windscreen ; Help

Hi

Normally the toll widget goes on the dark area near the rear view mirror.

On the new 460, there is no spare dark area as all used by the mirror.

Does it matter if stuck onto the clear windscreen? Certainly works as we used it by holding in place by hand. Just not sure if it’s good for the windscreen

My feeling is these things are so common, JLR wouldn’t provide a screen that could be damaged by sticking it on .

Thoughts? Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

the shaded area is designed for tags ...the clear part of the screen has heating elements which can interfere with he tags signal..

Thanks Stan, the iGUIDE says nothing!
Doesn’t have an area.

Anyway returned from France using the other widget holder. The wife!

Yes works hand held in the clear area, I didn’t want to damage the windscreen. I seem to remember there was a topic a while back about stickers on the rear screen. ;ossibly FFRR stickers.

Anyway back now and will double check, but can’t believe there is an issue as so widely used.

Thanks. Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

A bit late now I know but what about putting it on the rear of the passenger side sun visor?

It’s the same with the new Defender which I recently purchased. No shaded area so I’ve just put the tag on the clear glass. Not as neat as it looked on my L405 but I don’t see why it won’t work just the same (not been to France with it yet). 2024 Range Rover P550e AB
