Essential / Preventative upgrades

I was wondering what you all think about “upgrades”

I am looking to keep my MY16 Vogue SE 4.4 v8 for some years now

I appreciate the regular maintenance and even the more frequent oil changes etc but what about things like changing plastic pipes to silicon ones or different bushes etc

Basically not about big wheels and tyres type upgrades but simple improvements that will keep my car on the road for longer or avoid catastrophic failures from older type LR parts.

These can be LR or after market suggestions , bang for buck etc

Thoughts would be welcome. Am still struggling to commit to the android upgrade given cost of living at minute but I am thinking of more the mechanical / performance side of things.

I would get the front top wishbone clamps checked for cracks unless the wishbones have already been replaced.
