Using Stop-Start Battery to Charge Radio/Phone

I'm thinking of using the Stop-Start battery as an "always-on" charging point for a Motorola Radio and my phone.

My rationale behind this is that if the device, and their would only be one at a time, was left charging overnight and it managed to "flatten" the battery. I'd still be able to start the car from the main battery.

I need to investigate if I have a battery or a capacitor, but assuming I've got the battery. What does the wisdom of the forum think?

Many Thank

Just wire this inline with the power socket and it will turn it off when the battery drops to the level you set... Job done Thumbs Up

Ooooo, that looks cool! That would certainly solve any problems.

I had one on Fatty offroader years ago for a fridge in the boot when laning... worked great, fridge automatically goes on and off following the voltage... Thumbs Up

There are loads of different ones if you search for voltage sensing switch.... Pete
