Found some pics of my first Land Rover Discovery. I bought this direct from the factory pool car stock where it had been a demonstrator and press vehicle . As I was doing motoring journalism then, they agreed to sell me this at a very agreeable price. . Early 2 door Tdi version . I felt like a King driving it.Took it to Knowsley Safari Park where I had worked in my youth and my good friend, who was manger at the time, rounded up the pride for me to photograph it.

Just checked the mot history...currently expired but it last past in Dec 2010 with 159,704 miles on the clock. Advisory notice item(s)
general corrosion to underside of vehicle borderline in places
play in both front wheel bearings.

Previous Mots show it had a fair bit of underbody corrosion fails which I presume must have been put right.
