What coolant for L405

Recently had to top up me coolant. £17 from LR?

What coolant do you use and where is the best price to be found?

In my 5 years of ownership this is the first time I’ve had to top her up so hopefully no the result of any leaks. 718 GT4

Probably best to post this in the L405 forum but the 4.4 engines are essentially the same as the L322. The coolant type is in your handbook. Any coolant loss is not normal so should be investigated without delay. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

It's normal for coolant levels to be topped up on service, the compacted graphite /iron blocks used in the 'Lion' series engines and others, do allow coolant to be 'consumed', Its quite normal to add 500-800ml at service time, obviously if you're having to top it up between services or add significantly more, then there is an issue to be investigated.
