Restricted Performance and Weird Noise and won't turn oif

Hey Folks

Got a weird one, driving home and get restricted performance no errors on the IID at all, looked at loads of posts suggesting turbo hose issues but can not find any.

Its a 2013 4.4 SDV8.

If you listen to the sound in this video when you rev and come off there's a weird noise, like the eggier is suffocating, any ideas welcome, my first diesel FF after 3 petrols.

That's turbo flutter. Mine does it very occassionally. It's fairly common as there is no blow off valve and generally nothing to worry about.

In fact, I'm not sure but it may coincide with DPF regen.

Not sure if that is the cause of your restricted performance issue. Kev
