Multiple warning lights after new alternator and battery

Just before Xmas after scrapping ice off the windows I set off and got multiple warning lights on the dash of my L405 SDV8. It went into limp mode and I drove it home. My mechanic came round and diagnosed an Alternator fault. Car got left till Jan as he couldn't fit it in and when the tow truck came after Xmas the battery was completely dead.
My mechanic replaced the battery, alternator and belt and cleared down the multiple faults. He was taking it for a test drive and all was working well and then all the warning lights came back on and the handbrake started playing up.

Anyone experienced this? Any ideas? The battery was completely dead for a week or two - is there a way of resetting - my guy is scratching his head - he is a specialist LR guy and normally very good.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Thanks very much for the responses.

My guy has tested all the earths and says not - any other ideas?

He is saying that because the battery was dead for a while that he thinks the system needs to be reset but needs a more in depth diagnostic tool than the one he has to check out further. SDV8 Vogue SE

The other issue that MD thought could be on mine was a speed sensor which can also throw faults like yours, or a fault in abs unit
