Morning from the Southern Tip of Africa.

I have just gotten myself a low mileage ‘08 TDV8 Vogue SE, which I plan on setting up as a long distance tourer and light overland rig.

Looking forward to learning from the smart guys on here, and contributing where I can.

Hello all thanks for letting me in.

Looking to buy my first FFRR in July this year, I'm away for a few months hence the delay. I think the model choice is going to be a TDV8 2018/2019 Auto. Currently driving a 2013 E63 estate so the fuel saving will be a pleasant bonus with the change.

New owner - 2011 MY TDV8 Autobiography

Hi

I’ve literally just acquired a 2011 MY TDV8 Autobiography today!

It’s black and done 117k miles, in perfect condition inside - bumper corners have seen paint at some point but otherwise she’s mint.

Drove it home 240 miles today and it didn’t miss a beat, a couple of DTC’s I found - nothing too worrisome and they’ll get sorted.

It has an odd fault in that drivers mirror glass neither dimms at night as per the other two and it won’t move left or right (there’s a DTC for that).

But otherwise a peach of a car for a fantastic price! Managed 33mpg at avg speed 56 (M1 was a pain around leicester as was M18 around doncaster) and I only hoofed it above 2500 about 8 times on way home 😆
