When I close my tailgate (electrically) the upper half makes a rather loud quacking sound (best way I can describe it sorry!) as it finally shuts. It sounds like it’s from the right hand side and sounds like it’s from the top. Is this one of those common things? Anything I should attack with silicone spray or similar? FFRR SDV8 Autobiography

The seals on the tailgate lowering sometimes seem quite tight against the inner faces of the rear pillars and can make a rubbing sound as they brush past. On mine, I think the friction is enough sometimes for the tailgate to sense a problem like an obstruction and will stop lowering. I've thought about putting gummifledge along the seals to see if that would lower the friction. V8 or else ...

They can go out of alignment, if not fixed the spoiler can break....
