Pipe split.... No idea what it does?

Morning all,

Trying to find the location of my small oil leak. I've seen the very detailed posts about the O rings so ordered some to have them ready.

Whilst looking around the engine bay this morning I've noticed a split pipe.
I'll be honest, I have no idea what the pipe does or what it is for.

I'm hoping someone will know from the pictures.

The engine is 4.4 V8 Automatic 2004

Thank you 👍

That looks like a pipe that connects to the PCV and oil separator, and it will chuck oil out. It’s a common issue.

If you search on PCV for your year and model you should find what you’re looking for Thumbs Up ______________________________

I've had a look round the forum to try and find the relevant posts on this pipe but can't seem to find them.

Any suggestions to help me order the replacements? Should be fairly straightforward to replace once I have them👀
