Surely you are waiting until the 1st March for delivery for the new reg? "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

I bought a used 2021 L405 AB V8 SC the day before Christmas (so barely 2 months ago) and ordered a P530 AB at the same time with a project delivery date 18 months later. My dealer here in Paris called me this morning to tell me I'd get the L460 mid-May, so 2.5 months from now.

I'm told the factory is about to build my long awaited P440e HSE (Eiger grey and Caraway interior) with delivery due in April. I'm pinching myself ... |

Ordered mine 3/2/22. Dealer said lead time is 12 months but as I ordered the tow bar I could expect a delay of 3 months. No build date yet. |

I think I've just been lucky. But, on the other hand, my dealer adroitly steered me away from all but the most vanilla/least techy options, which appears to have done the trick in seeing the order given a fair wind by Solihull. Being built next week, I gather. So fingers tightly crossed ... |

Can someone explain in words of one syllable why adding a tow bar will delay a car with a delivery date of 12 months will add a further three months… does it take 15 months to make a tow bar? Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

Reading this confirms I was right in cancelling my order for my P440 AB, I have been trying to get my €16,000 deposit back, unsuccessfully from my dealer in France, I placed my order almost 10 months ago and the dealer has done nothing with the order as just 2 weeks ago they tried to sell me another car saying it would be unlikely I would get my car this year! I am pleased for you though and slightly jealous I did contact a dealership in Paris a year ago about some P530's they had in stock but decided I didn't like the cars enough to pay the €40k tax! |
