Westminster 20" Alloys won't fit 2011 Vogue

New user. New RR owner. 1st post.

Just bought a l322 2011 Vogue (see pics - I have removed the horrible side steps. 19" factory rims. Found a set of 5 BH4M-1007-BA 20" supposedly off a Westminster (i am assured and believe) - see pics. Great price including full set of Pirellis on 4 (5th Alloy was an unexpected bonus full size spare with a Conti). All stamped with part number - unless I am nuts these are genuine.

They tried to fit them in place of the 19"ers today and couldn't. Said I needed different bolts (nuts).
Checked with LR service dept and am assured only one Nut type for l322. Grrr

Am I missing something here? Are there different types of Alloy. Did the cars with 19" from factory come with diff set ups? Do i need different nuts? What Alloys will fit my car?

I have read that the older model alloys (ie up to 2010) are different.

Please help a new and excited RR owner.

Please help. Have googled and am lost. Would love these

There are 2 sizes of wheel nuts on a L322
At a guess, your 19 inch alloys were from an earlier L322 fitted with earlier nuts, so in theory your westminster wheels will fit with the later nuts.

That’s odd because those 19” rims are the later type and Westminster rims are L322 run out rims of the last model - so in theory the nuts should be the same. It was the earlier BMW L322 to 2005 that had the different nuts. They changed at 2006 MY 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

I think you need LR173842 for the later wheels.

Agreed, the nuts & lockers look the correct type for the wheels, check & measure the bore where the nuts go of the replacement wheels, they look a bit corroded on the back, possibly just need the oxidisation cleaning off?
If you could remove one wheel nut and take a picture of it, you'll get a more definitive answer.
