I’ve just installed an Android 9/10.25 head unit, and all is working perfectly, except Carplay. I’ve tried everything I can find on the web with no luck.

Originally when pressing the Carplay button, it just flashed. On advice from the web, I’ve installed ZLink. This looked more positive as it starts, but then drops out.

The sticker on the unit definitely indicates that Carplay is an option on this model, and I’m sure it is, it just me.

Any thoughts?

If not already, it may be worth dropping Dan at Poseidon a msg. to see if there’s something obvious? He was very helpful when I contacted him re a replacement mounting frame for the AC screen.

Assume you’ve watched the various instruction videos on their website?

I never tried using CarPlay on this unit, but hopefully it’s something simple 🤞 Jonathan

I dropped him a message yesterday, I’m just impatient. I’m sure as you say, it’s just something simple and a process that I haven’t followed. Apart from that, all is good.

I haven’t been able to get zlink to ever work.

Instead, I use the Autoplay dongle from Android Aftershock. CarPlay works wired/wirelessly. Dan. 🇨🇦 2013 L405 5.0 SCV8

Thanks for the heads-up, I might have to go down that route.

The reason I haven’t already is that the unit has a sticker that says CarPlay is already installed.

@millerj - were you able to resolve the issue you had with getting CarPlay to work

On my Xtrons Android head unit it advises first connecting via cable connection to allow Zlink to set itself up.
Then use wireless only afterwards - at least for Apple Carplay. Paul,

Currently I'm in touch with Dan at Poseidon Automotive, he's a great chap and is leading me through some ideas.

Yes, but not really in the most efficient manner. I brought a complete new unit from Dan.
