Faulty rear light help

I realised tonight my left rear light is faulty. The reverse, stop and brake light turn on for a split second before going out. I had a good Google but no results really for the rear light failing. I have no warnings on the dash to indicate a fault.

I made a video using the bulb test feature for the towbar as it does the same thing. You can see the light flash as it alternates through

Any ideas?

went low tech and swapped them round and the fault follows the light cluster.

Strange thing is its dated 2021 so its an OEM replacement and its still failed.

I wasn't looking for an excuse to upgrade to the 2018 rear lights but I guess I have one now!
