Well, even the towing capacity is right, but I wonder what the range is towing 3500kgs?

Oh, and what a shame they only had pictures of the one they dropped the shipping container on to put on the website.

I don’t suppose you have any pointers to get started? I’m struggling to find any guides to get the rear exec seats removed. There doesn’t appear to be the same 2 clips underneath that are on the standard seats?

I have a seat that won’t move forwards/back but recline is ok. I can see a red connector unplugged 🤔

Following up, they are the same clips that hold the exec seat in place. As the seat wouldn’t move forwards, it was impossible to get close to the clip as the seat base is so deep. A gentle pull on seat pulled the clips off the seat rather than unclipping from the frame. All sorted now.

I didn't read all the replies - so apologies if this was mentioned before...
But would this be too Proletariat?

Get some 12mil Plywood and wrap it in outdoor carpet.
I did not take the time to measure the 'drop' between the top of the angled seat and the floor of the 'boot' but call it 3". span the slope and the dogs have a nice pallet upon which to ride.

you could even do it in a couple of sections and if you have a Jig Saw or scroll saw - you could fit the nooks and crannies. If not, stuff moving blankets or beach towels in the sides.

When you are allowed a night on the town - you can pull it out and have a 4-5 passenger truck once again... 2006 L322 HSE LUX 4.4NA Jag V8 Buckingham Blue/Ivory - 'Col Reb'

Funny enough that occurred to me, just sling in a suitably cut sheet of ply and lose a few inches of headroom. Why make it more complicated than it needs to be. Geoff

I appreciate this is an old thread, but im after the solution.
Was it ever explained how to fold the back seats flat?

According to the handbook, there's a button to press on the shoulder of the rear seat, that allows the seat base to pull forward, but my seats don't have that button.....

I couldn't see all of the text on the manual you showed, but it references accessing the third row seats. The L405 never had third row seats. That manual must be from a Range Rover Sport or possibly a Discovery/LR3/LR4.
My 2016 L405 does not have any button on the top of the seats The way that you fold them forward is down by your hip on the bottom of the seat. 2006 L322 HSE LUX 4.4NA Jag V8 Buckingham Blue/Ivory - 'Col Reb'

Ahhh Yes I believe it should have the button if you have a third row. I was doing this on my phone and since this is the full fat forum, I didn't realize you were referencing a Sport.
My son has an l494, but I don't have access to it right now. I'm not sure if the two row version came with that button. It may have only been the three row version.
There are some Sport Facebook groups as well as Sport forums where you will find folks that can probably give you better info.
Depending on the year yours is an L494 or an L461.
Good luck with it! 🍀 2006 L322 HSE LUX 4.4NA Jag V8 Buckingham Blue/Ivory - 'Col Reb'

Thanks. I'll check out the Sport forums.
There must be a way to remove them... (if nothing else to replace the seats in the event of damage 🤔)

Thanks all - sorted it!
Went to local indi Land Rover repair place and it had him stumped so he did quick search on topix.

Will post a separate thread with photos on how to remove. There are catches but they were hidden in the seat base foam. Once located, clicked and seats release. Unplugged the connecting wires and pushed the back release leaver a few times and now have completely flat folded seats and boot space Smile Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
