On the Dover to Calais route you can now take your dog upstairs with you into a special dog lounge area. This is new news to me and opens up the ferry option. I would never do it before after hearing about the dog who died from heat in the car deck.

Only on P&O.

finally the ferry peeps have woken up to the fact that many travellers take their dogs over the channel.

sadly we lost our dog back in january but we would certainly considered this P&O initiative if we still had her....

Think you should get another dog Stan

we cant.....we had 15 years of a very special dog and theres nothing that can replace her..

...and the freedom of not having to go for walks [in the rain], picking up the poo is kinda refreshing..

a new pup will probably outlive us anyway..  ... - .- -.

leave plenty of time to book in at the pet reception, sometimes peeps havnt got the correct paperwork so theres normally queue ...
get pup to do its business and exercise as much as possible...and i cant see any problems with the front seat ..
other than that its plain sailing [but on a train ] ... - .- -.

The only downside is that you have to go on a P&O ferry.....we did that for the last time in Feb, a truly miserable experience compared to years gone by. The dog area had a couple of happy customers though, so that was good.

what was wrong with it Stan ?

extra half hour down the from the shuttle which after transvesing the m25 was tiring..

seems its all trucks and camper vans and the whole area is run down.

I've used the shuttle for many years and kinda got used to it... ... - .- -.

Bill Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

its just my personal opinion but the extra cost of the tunnel is worth it..

holiday is going great Bill...staying in chinon at the moment and were lucky to see the classic car show here..its a big like a mini Goodwood. ... - .- -.
