Tell her to leave all her other clothes in her suitcase and wear what she's bought. It'll be 2nd hand then and not classed as new so worth significantly less |

The eu side, one bit I didn’t know was you have three months to export the item, thus allowing your daughter to buy it and bring some on another occasions if trying to duck the vat limits .
