EGR delete

Hi folks,

Is there any benefits to doing an egr delete on the 2013 (63) 3.0d ?
I don't do huge milage but do a 200 mile run every month and all the usual short runs in-between that.

If you map it out then it should stay in its closed position forever more... This will mean it can't fail in the future in a partially open position... Thumbs Up

Perfect, it's getting a remap today so I will double check it's getting mapped out.
I get the reason behind the EGR but what a hassle it causes the motorists.

It’s not even tested for during MOT! And I maybe wrong here but I understand it’s not necessary to have it? So not against regs to not have an EGR. Whereas a CAT & DPF are legislated and MOTable (if only visually)
