Wiring between suspension ECU and rear right height sensor?

Hi all, i've had a rear rear right air suspension fault for sometime now and having replaced the height sensor and male connector on the height sensor end of the wiring but still getting zero volts from the sensor i started tracing the 3 wires between it and the suspension ECU below the passenger glove box.

Would anyone know please where these 3 wires go where they disappear above the rear of the fuel tank?...and how to physically inspect them from there up to their connections in the suspension ECU?

Has anyone replaced these wires entirely with new ones?...what gauge should they be and what route did you take?

Do i need to drop the fuel tank, (the sump-like cover is finally off but removing fuel tank will need to remove drives!!), or do the wires run inside the body structure from that point above the fuel tank?

Oh its a 2007 3.6 TDV8 HSE......TIA

There is a wiring harness that runs inside from the right rear corner across behind the rear right seat which can move and then get squashed by the seat causing damage to some wires. Various electrical faults can occur depending on which wires are shorting together.

Yes, i ended up simply running a few cores of a data cable spliced to the corresponding wires coming out of the ECU on the front passenger side and passed them down under the door plate then up around that side of the back seat into the spare wheel well and drilled a hole through there and pulled the cores up close to the height sensor and spliced the sensor & data core wires together...this fixed the problem and its still working fine!

Ah thanks, how come you had to drill a hole, couldn’t you use where the original wire was?
