I'd be concerned that as a garage, they couldn't figure out what a flat battery was. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

From what I've gathered, it didn't start with a jump pack, and they couldn't crank the engine manually.

So they told me it needs a new engine.

I went down and gave it a good long charge jumped from a friend's car and got it turned over and fired up.

They just couldn't see a reason why they couldn't turn it manually 🤷‍♂️

6 weeks on from me initially dropping it off, and they're hopefully now going to do the work it was initially taken in for.

Obviously, if anybody has any other specialist garage recomendstions in West yorkshire. I'm open to suggestions 😁

Damn! What year/model were you getting a quote for?

Best Turbo's were my backup if this place wouldnt do the work, but for £4k, you could just go buy another!

Ill wait until i get the car back and its condition before i post the rough cost quoted here.

So, i finally have some positive news after 8+ weeks of waiting.
With a bit of luck, turbos should be replaced and ready to go pick up tomorrow!

Is there anything I should keep an eye out for?
Any questions I should ask to ensure that everything has been done properly?

Dont want to get a couple mile down the road and breakdown Laughing

So I finally have good news, and the car is back!
Picked up Friday, and all seems to be working fine so far.

Exhaust is a little bit smokey, but should hopefully clear up over the next week or so.

So price to replace 2 turbo's came in just under £1,977.42

So it came in under what I expected - And seemingly way under Best Turbo's wanted to charge.

Im just so happy to finally have my RR back Very Happy
