On my last L405, you could disconnect it by removing the negative off the stop start battery. The only issue was I also lost the heated seat function - all ok in the summer, but when you want heated seats in the winter it wasn’t much fun 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

as above if you have an aux battery in the rear cubby or disconnect the signal wire if you have a condenser.

I'd have thought that just disconnecting the BMS on the aux. battery would disable Autostop, it does on a lot of other marques.
