2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand
Vibration after Drive shaft carrier Bearing Replacement

Hi All,
2011 L322 4.4 TDV8 130K miles
Changed the carrier bearing on the drive shaft and now have a vibration at 52-60mph. No vibration with old worn bearing. Does it need to bed in or am I missing something.

i bet you rotated Cardan joint during assembly.

That’s the reason that a lot of places won’t replace the bearing and say to replace the entire shaft.

Our local specialist reckon they’ve done a few bearings with no proper success so now they’ll only fit a GKN shaft.
